Guide to Listing and Pricing your Gear on Rerouted

 

So, you have gear to spare and are ready to clear your garage or closet and want to make some extra cash? We are here for it! All you need to do is:

• Gather your items, and make sure they are clean and ready for photos.
• Find a well lit area, preferably on a white surface so you can really showcase the gear, and take a few photos to show the front, tag, back, side, or bottom. Any interesting details or damage? Be sure to capture that in the photos.
• Add Description, Price and any Details. Click SUBMIT NOW. 
• We’ll take care of the rest!

 

We are frequently asked “How should I price my item(s) on Rerouted?” 

In order to sell your gear as quickly as possible, search the internet to see what prices other sites are listing that same item. For items no longer on the market, this is the best way to get an idea of current market value. We suggest:

• New or Used-Like New (only used a few times and in top condition): 30%-35% off MSRP
• Used-Good: 50% off MSRP
• Used-Fair: 80-90% off MSRP

 

Our purpose at Rerouted is to keep gear out of the landfill and to get gear back into the world to go on more adventures.
